Below you will find our terms & conditions for our Energy Healing and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment Services. Please read carefully prior to accepting our terms and conditions on our client and patient forms. 

Energy Healing 

By engaging in Energy Healing services provided by My Healing Company, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Nature of Energy Healing:

    • Energy Healing is a holistic approach that works with the body's subtle energies to promote overall well-being. It is not a substitute for traditional medical care but can be complementary when used in conjunction with medical treatments.

  2. Qualifications of Energy Healing Practitioners:

    • Our Energy Healing Practitioners are not licensed medical professionals, and their services do not include the diagnosis or prescription of medication. Energy Healing is a non-invasive and complementary practice focused on balancing and harmonizing energy fields.

  3. Recommendation for Licensed Medical Care:

    • Clients are strongly advised to maintain a relationship with a licensed physician or qualified healthcare professional for all physical and mental health concerns. Energy Healing does not replace the need for medical care, and it is essential to consult with a medical professional for diagnosis and treatment of any ailments.

  4. Client Responsibility:

    • Clients acknowledge that it is their responsibility to disclose any known physical or mental health conditions to our Energy Healing Practitioners. This includes, but is not limited to, existing medical treatments, medications, or therapies.

  5. Informed Consent:

    • By engaging in Energy Healing services, clients provide informed consent and affirm that they understand the nature of the practice. Clients voluntarily choose to participate and take full responsibility for their well-being.

  6. Confidentiality:

    • All information shared during Energy Healing sessions is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Practitioners will not disclose personal information without explicit consent unless required by law.

  7. Limitation of Liability:

    • My Healing Company and its Energy Healing Practitioners shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of Energy Healing services. Clients assume all risks associated with the practice.

  8. Cancellation and Rescheduling:

    • Clients are required to provide a minimum 24 hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Details regarding cancellation policies can be found in our scheduling terms.

  9. Payment Terms:

    • Payment for Energy Healing services is due at time of service. My Healing Company reserves the right to adjust pricing and payment policies with reasonable notice.

  10. Amendments to Terms:

    • My Healing Company reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment

By choosing to receive Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) services from Dr. Tyler Marler at My Healing Company, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Nature of Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment:

    • OMT is a manual therapy provided by Dr. Tyler Marler, a licensed Osteopathic Physician. OMT involves hands-on techniques to address musculoskeletal issues, enhance mobility, and support the body's natural healing processes.

  2. Dr. Tyler Marler's Credentials:

    • Dr. Tyler Marler is a licensed Osteopathic Physician with Board Certification in Family Medicine and OMT. Any additional medical services beyond OMT, including diagnosis or prescriptions, must be scheduled separately through Mercy Family Medicine Clinic in O'Fallon.

  3. Complementary to Medical Care:

    • OMT is intended to complement traditional medical care. Patients are advised to maintain a relationship with a licensed physician for comprehensive healthcare needs, including diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.

  4. Patient Responsibility:

    • Patients are responsible for communicating any existing medical conditions, medications, or ongoing treatments to Dr. Tyler Marler. This information is crucial for a comprehensive understanding of the patient's health and to ensure the safety and effectiveness of OMT.

  5. Enhancement and Resolution of Ailments:

    • OMT, when used in conjunction with other medical care, has been found to enhance and resolve various physical ailments. It is essential for patients to understand that individual results may vary, and complete resolution may require multiple sessions. Patients acknowledge that results from OMT may not be guaranteed after the initial session. The effectiveness of treatment may require multiple visits, and the long-term benefits are often achieved through regular and consistent appointments.

  6. Confidentiality:

    • All information shared during OMT sessions is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Dr. Tyler Marler will not disclose personal information without explicit consent unless required by law.

  7. Limitation of Liability:

    • My Healing Company and Dr. Tyler Marler shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from OMT treatment. Patients assume all risks associated with the treatment.
